防彈少年團 BTS 的 V，他剛推出了他的新單曲《FRI(END)S》，又在極短時間霸佔排行榜了！粉絲們猜測這首歌是他首張個人專輯《Layover》中《For Us》的續集！這是繼2023年12月 V 入伍之後，發布的首支單曲，V 在3月6日透過預告這首歌，在短暫的預告中用各種物件拼出歌曲的標題，從雕刻過的蘋果、撲克牌、填字謎到氣球。

《Fri(end)s》的 MV 中，V在一段設定在兩個平行宇宙中的愛情故事中擔當主角。在一個宇宙中，他與他的女朋友在一起，而在另一個宇宙，他獨自一人處在快樂的情侶之中。
儘管情境不同，V的命運保持不變，導致了一個悲傷的結局，牽動人心。歌詞美麗地表達了將一段友誼轉變為更深層次浪漫關係的渴望。
